Hitting your scan points on time is a big deal to the higher ups at the post office, and if you aren't hitting them correctly you will hear about it. Head them off at the pass by using the APP software to manage your pace correctly. After entering your MSP information for the desired route you simply need to check your phone from time to time to see if you are on schedule. It will tell you if you need to pick up your pace, or if it is ok to slow down a little. It is especially important during your probationary period to do this correctly.
1) Search route by entering zip code and route number of desired route.
2) If no previous records are found you will need to add route details the first time. The information for MSP scan location and time is on an MSP location report given to you by management (if they have not given this paper to you, ask for it). After entering this information click save route. Now this route will be available for all future use and you will not need to re-enter the information again. Feel free to add this route as a favorite for easy access.
3) If you need to change the route start time and/or end time you can do this from the settings menu next to the countdown timer. Since the algorithms for different routes have so many different variables it is recommended that you enter the start time in the morning, then about halfway through the route (example: lunch time) you enter the end time to account for algorithm fluctuation. This will help keep the times the most accurate.
